I just bought one for ~ $26. I removed the plastic plug that came in the top of the dipstick tube and inserted my new dipstick. Just one issue. Our 2013 Q5 has oil consumption issue at 67,111 miles ( About 1 quart every 800 miles) . Extended warranty company refuses to cover Oil Consumption so our service advisor reached out to Audi and they will repair it for $2100. Location Michigan. My Photo Gallery: 0. Oil level sensor fine is actually the hood open switch 2016 Audi Q5 3.0T Premium+/2003 Honda S2000 Location Hilton, NY. My Photo Gallery: 0 but the dip stick mentioned above fits perfectly on my wifes 2016 Q5 2.0T.and the pull handle part fits as well without having to be cut/trimmed or anything.
The SQ and S4 engines are identical, as far as we can tell. The Q5 S-Line 3.0TFSI seems identical from a purely mechanical perspective, and only has a different, milder tune. An ECU flash fixes that. The different part number on the exhaust manifold is strange.
The first option is to replace it with a new one. Alternatively, you can use a telescopic magnet pickup tool. This will help you remove it from the dipstick tube. You can buy this type of pick-up tool at your local auto parts store. Another option is to try to repair the handle.
Fortunately, your Audi does come with a dipstick tube. The dipstick tube on your 2.0 litre engine will have a small plastic cap on it and the cap snaps onto the end of the tube. HID headlights.
